We ensure that employees can contribute to our operations while being part of a vibrant, community-focused organisation.

If you’re looking for a supportive workplace where you can gain work skills and work with like minded peers…..supported employment might be the perfect fit for you.

What You’ll Gain as a Supported Employee

  • Earn While You Learn
As a supported employee, you’ll receive a wage based on the Supported Employment Services Award, with a supported wage assessment determining productivity and competency levels.
An independent assessor evaluates an employee’s “productive capacity” by measuring the time they take to complete tasks against the standard time for that task. The assessed productivity rate is then converted into a percentage of the full minimum award wage applicable to their role.
As a supported employee you’ll enjoy set working hours, leave entitlements, superannuation, and other employment benefits.

  • Skills Development
You’ll have the chance to develop essential work skills while learning about the requirements of employment in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Each work task is tailored in a way for you to achieve your best while being supported by staff.

  • Individual Work Plan
Our team will help you create a personalised work plan designed to increase your skills and confidence over time. Training is provided in a hands-on, practical manner, ensuring you’re set up for success in your role.

McLaren Vale Enterprises offers a supportive workplace where individuals can thrive and achieve their employment goals.
